Overview

Jean's passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word is undeniable. She has a great love for God's Word and is a living example of one whose life has been changed by the power of the Living Word and by the precepts, promises, and principles of the written Word.

God has given Jean a special burden for moms. Jean clearly recalls as a young mom herself feeling alone and alienated, beleaguered and overwhelmed by the responsibilities of training a child in the way he should go. The ache in her heart for encouragement and instruction helped lead her to the fountain of wisdom found in the Word of God. God quietly disclosed Himself to her as she sought after Him with a whole heart in the few snatches of time she could grab while rocking babies and raising boys.

Jean was asked to lead a Bible study for mommas when Jason was ten and Dawson was eight years old. Recalling the challenges and the chaos of her early mothering days, Jean quickly responded to the call. From that day until now, she continues to teach moms in an ever-expanding sphere of influence and to urge the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored (Titus 2:3-4).
